Introduction

Welcome to Ceylon Tours. By accessing our website or booking a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Tour Bookings

When you book a tour with Ceylon Tours: • All bookings require a deposit of 30% to confirm • Full payment is due 30 days before the tour start date • Bookings are confirmed only upon payment receipt We accept payments via bank transfer and major credit cards.

Pricing

Tour prices are quoted in USD and include: • Accommodation as specified in the itinerary • Meals as specified in the itinerary • All transfers and transportation • Guide services • Entrance fees to attractions Prices do not include: • International flights • Visa fees • Personal expenses • Tips and gratuities • Travel insurance

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to: • 30+ days before tour: Full refund minus 10% admin fee • 15-29 days before tour: 50% refund • 8-14 days before tour: 25% refund • 1-7 days before tour: No refund We recommend purchasing travel insurance for protection.

Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries if circumstances require. This may include weather conditions, local holidays, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer similar alternatives at no additional cost.

Responsibility

Ceylon Tours acts only as an intermediary between travelers and service providers. We are not liable for: • Acts of third-party suppliers • Personal injury or property damage • Loss or damage due to force majeure All suppliers have their own terms and conditions.

Travel Requirements

Travelers are responsible for: • Valid passport (6+ months validity) • Appropriate visas • Travel insurance • Medical requirements for their trip We can provide guidance on visa requirements but are not responsible for visa issues.

Health and Safety

We prioritize traveler safety. However, certain activities involve inherent risks. Travelers participate at their own risk. We recommend: • Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance • Consulting a doctor before booking if pregnant or with medical conditions • Following guide instructions during activities

Code of Conduct

Travelers are expected to: • Respect local customs and traditions • Follow environmental guidelines • Treat guides, drivers, and locals with respect • Not engage in illegal activities We reserve the right to terminate tours without refund for inappropriate behavior.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved in Sri Lankan courts.
